The food and service was great. The food was expensive but everything was tasty and fresh. We started with fried calamari and raw oysters. Oysters were large and the calamari was fried with jalapeno peppers. I had the CT lobster roll which had large pieces of lobster. The kahuna chocolate cake was also delicious, but expensive at $15. Of course the view was gorgeous as it is on the beach. Our waitress was very attentive. It was a pleasant experience.

Views are great, as are the staff & drinks. Food is okay to decent, but to the people complaining about prices; you're in a restaurant on the beach. They're going to be a little expensive (but not crazy expensive, more like city-casual expensive). Unsure what the tears are about. We've come here in both work attire and "play" clothes, both seem appropriate. TL;DR: nice spot to hang and catch your breath.

Water views, friendly staff, menu always changing. Served seafood in the summer and comfort food this off-season. Short rib tacos were a first for me. Good for families or couples. Nice bar for games or socializing

Questions & Answers

Agreed. It's almost as if Rye does not want outsiders to come in. Maybe get the permit that costs significantly cheaper and includes parking and beach.

Very calm waters

See Rye Town Park website for full permit fees.

There's no pickelball court at Rye town beach park. Visit the town website for court locations.

This beach with restaurant is just for sunbathing

Depends... check town website. Pricy in the summer .... especially for non residents.

I believe they are close , the last day is usually labor day, sorry. But you can stil visit the park and take a walk on the beach, bathrooms are open no showers though.

I don't think so

All of the questions about price, parking, etc. Can be answered by calling the Rye Town Parks Department.
